The New FineTec Pearlescent colours are water soluble artist colours based on a special purified all-natural gum arabica (Acacia Gum) and on modern pearlescent pigments of the highest quality. They are handmade in Germany by Draw.Tec. Because of their special manufacturing process, the colour cakes get their characteristic and individual wavy surface. The new formulation was developed with artists and with calligraphers.

FineTec Pearl Colours can be dissolved with water and a brush just like watercolours and are perfectly suited for calligraphy, painting, fashion illustrations, design or hobby. Beside the use of brushes, these paints are also suitable for use with Glass Pens & Calligraphy Nibs, dip or otherwise. These pearlescent colours show their intense brilliance and their unique lustre on all surfaces. There are no limitations imposed on your imagination and creativity while using these colours. The colours can be mixed with each other as well as with other paint media. The colours adhere to various kinds of absorbent surfaces. FineTec Pearl colours are available in 18 individual colours and in assorted sets with up to 12 colours.

FineTec Pearl Colours are made entirely of Mica Pigments and Gum Arabic, they are completely free of animal ingredients. FineTec don’t use any filler materials like gypsum. This allows the pigments to shine in their full brilliance. Mica is a purely natural product made of minerals. These pigments are known to be very lightfast and they don’t oxidize. Gum arabica is a natural product made of the hardened sap of the acacia tree.

FineTec Pearl Colors have been tested by an American laboratory and conform to the ASTM-4236 standard, they also comply with CE-standard.

Our tip: for the perfect result, we recommend putting some drops of water on the colour and letting it sit for a few minutes before using it.
