Daler-Rowney Gold?nger varnish helps protect the gilding metallic paste (Goldfinger) after application on any surface like wood, canvas etc., to ensure permanance of the multi-purpose paste on the applied surface. To preserve the lustre, Gold?nger can be treated with Gold?nger Varnish. Goldfinger can also be used in a mixed-media approach, as an oil paint.
